Every Breaking Wave is left over from the recording sessions of the U2 album, No Line on the Horizon. While not yet officially released, U2 have debuted it live during the 360 Tour. The lyrics below are from those live performances of the song.

While talk is cheap, U2 have gone on and on about Every Breaking Wave since NLOTH was released, perhaps more than other songs from the same album! Fans are predicting that the song will eventually be released officially when U2 get on their boots and finish the often talked about album, Songs of Ascent.

Bono and co have talked about how they will record the the follow up album in the near future. I'm not holding my breath. U2 are booked to tour till at least the end of 2010. Maybe they will do a Zooropa on us and record in between concert dates. Again, no breath holding as Bono and the Edge are trying to lock down the Spider Man musical, Turn Off the Dark which featured Boy Falls From The Sky
